Our Annual General Meeting 2024 is our opportunity to present a retrospective of 2023 and our future plans. This year, our guest of honour is Mr Christopher Dembik. One of France's best-known economists, he has made numerous appearances on television (BFM TV, TV5) and contributed to press publications such as Le Figaro, Le Monde and the Huffington Post. He has also been awarded the prize for 'best economic forecaster' in France and Germany.

Co-founder of Banking Circle and Chief Executive Officer of Banking Circle Group, Anders la Cour previously worked as a technology and financial M&A lawyer at a tier one law firm in Copenhagen.
Anders was a top graduate from the University Master of Laws in Denmark, and was admitted to the Bar in 2008. His experience in legal M&A, as well as in venture capital, coupled with his strong commercial acumen and entrepreneurial mind-set means Anders understands the financial tech industry. In identifying a flaw in how the FinTech sector is serviced by the banks, he has seized the opportunity to bring a solution to market that will be a serious game-changer and challenger to the status quo.
Anders is responsible for the day to day management of Banking Circle Group as well as investor relations.

Senior Investment Manager at Pictet AM
Christopher Dembik is Senior Investment Manager at Pictet AM, based in Paris, France. He was for 10 years Head of Macroeconomic Research at Saxo Bank. He is member of the French Society of Political Economic and board member of the listed Spanish company Substrate AI. Previously, he worked as analyst for an Israeli financial start-up and for the French Treasury. During the 2017 French presidential campaign, he was member of Emmanuel Macron’s economist team working on European economic issues and the impact of political risk on financial markets.
Dembik holds a master’s degree in international Affairs from Sciences Po Paris and an MBA from the Institute of Economics of the Polish Academy of Sciences. He is the co-author of The Greatest Contemporary Economic Debates (Ellipses, 2016) and Money: Functions, Monetary Transmission Mechanism and Evolution (Ellipses, 2017).
