Dr Dirk Haubrich is Head of Conduct, Payments and Consumers at the European Banking Authority (EBA). Dirk leads the EBA’s work on payment services, electronic money; deposit guarantee schemes; and consumer protection. Previously, Dirk held roles across the private, academic and public sectors, with consulting firm Accenture, University College London, the University of Oxford, the UK Prime Minister’s Strategy Unit, the UK Electoral Commission; and the UK Financial Conduct Authority. He holds academic degrees in business economics, politics and philosophy.

Backed by a solid banking background, Christophe Vergne has played a critical role in building Capgemini’s global payments transformation capability, enabling major institutions transform and consolidate their leadership across all market segments and services. For over the past decade, Christophe has been the co-author of the World Payments Report, contributing to making it the most successful publication on payments transformation. He is a thought leader, speaker, blogger and business advisor for the CXO’s in the payments industry. He has been presenting the World Payments Report at Sibos and in Europe over the last seven years and is frequently quoted in the French and European economic and trade media to comment on the latest payments news.

Anders la Cour is the CEO of Banking Circle Group and the Chairman of the Payments Association EU. Anders will be delivering the opening remarks of our congress.

Alexandre joined Deloitte Luxembourg in 2015 after 5 years as a Project Manager for an international banking group in Paris.
He is now acting as a Director in our Consulting department, working mostly on Banking Transformation projects. He is leading the payments practice in Luxembourg and supports banking clients on regulatory and transformation projects across EMEA. Alexandre is also leading several operational services at Deloitte Solutions, a supervised subsidiary of Deloitte Luxembourg, to provide banking and investment management clients with end-to-end solutions.

Roeland Van der Stappen is Head of Regulatory Affairs for Europe at Visa since November 2018. Based in Brussels, he coordinates Visa Europe’s approach to EU regulatory and policy discussions, shaping outreach and advocacy strategy in Brussels and in the region. Roeland has been working in the financial sector for more than 10 years. Prior tojoining Visa, Roeland served as Vice President of Government Policy and Public Relations at Barclays, with a focus on digital banking and FinTech policy issues.

General Manager for Modulr Europe, has over 30 years’ experience in financial services in Capital, Business and Consumer markets dealing with a broad range of customers from Corporate to Institutional to SME and Personal customers.

He has been working closely together with Marketing to plan collaborations, partnerships, and events. He has been a part of the global high potential Leadership program in Western Union Business Solutions and also a part of the global project group for potential blockchain use cases within Western Union. He is armed with a Bachelor and a Master degree in international Banking and Finance and a Global Executive MBA from INSEAD (specialization in Business with Asia, Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain).

Søren Mogensen heads up the Business Management and Growth team at Banking Circle. He is focused on driving commercial expansion across countries and continents as well as creating a strong employer brand and recruiting key talent. Søren was previously Senior Vice President and Head of Group Strategy & Transformation at Danske Bank, where he headed up a new strategy powerhouse and operationalised the biggest transformation in the bank’s history. Prior to this Søren was an advisor at McKinsey & Company working on various topics such as Commercial Scaling, Agile Development, Strategic Transformations and M&A.
